I am a audio enthusiast in both the car audio world and Dj industry.
I have competed in Car audio in both SPL (Sound Pressure Level) and SQ (Sound Quality) since 1995. It started with a 4′ speaker hanging out the dash of my 1990 Buick LeSabre sedan and an Alpine tape deck after removing all the factory stereo equipment because it was the cool thing to do.
This lead to the addition of properly placed speakers, a CD player, amplifiers and subs.
Fast forwarding a few years into 1998, with my 1990 Ford Ranger i stepped up, out of the norm, with running 2 Audiobahn 10″ DVC subs in a 6.5 cubic foot box and 2 Earthquake Shredder PHD2 amplifiers.
